Under the Hood: Resilience and Stability Improvements

While we love adding new flashy features, the foundation of a great scavenger hunt is reliability. Today's update is all about making YAQRSA more resilient for players and more stable for developers.

Session Resilience ​

We’ve overhauled how player progress is tracked to handle the unpredictable nature of mobile browsing. Players who accidentally close their browser or have their session cleared can now easily pick up where they left off by simply entering their Nickname and PIN again. This ensures that a single bar of spotty Wi-Fi doesn't ruin a guest's afternoon adventure.

Smarter Dashboards ​

Our creator dashboard is now smarter about how it fetches analytics. We’ve introduced a more robust data layer that ensures your dashboard remains snappy and functional, even during high-traffic periods or maintenance windows.

Creator UX & Themes ​

We’ve made the hunt creation process smoother and more expressive. You’ll find an expanded library of color themes—including new Pink, Brown, and Neon options—to help your hunt match your brand or venue perfectly.

To help new creators get started faster, we’ve also introduced:

  • Smart Defaults: New hunts now default to "Count" based progress tracking, making it easier for players to see exactly how many stops they have left.
  • Improved Hierarchy: The hunt editor is now better organized with clear sections and improved visibility for all input fields.
  • Inspirational Placeholders: Stuck on a clue? We've added helpful placeholders to guide you in creating engaging content for your players.

Mobile-First Everywhere ​

Whether you're managing your hunts from a tablet or playing on a small mobile device, YAQRSA is now more responsive than ever. We've polished the typography, spacing, and navigation across the entire app to ensure a professional experience on any screen size.
