We're constantly working behind the scenes to make YAQRSA more secure, reliable, and easier to use.
Today, we are rolling out a handful of minor updates and UX improvements.
Password Management
For users who authenticate directly via email and password, we have implemented a new secure Change Password flow in the User Preferences panel. This new system ensures your accounts stay secure by utilizing a strict re-authentication check with your current password. Users who rely on third-party providers (like Google) to sign in will continue to manage their passwords directly with their provider.
Interface Refinements
Based on early feedback, we have also improved the Hunt Management dashboard:
- Clearer Data Views: Filters on the dashboard have been updated from "Active/Archived" to "Live" and "Ended" to make hunt statuses instantly understandable.
- Accident Prevention: Live hunts can no longer be deleted while they are active. You must explicitly end a hunt first to ensure player progress is not accidentally wiped out mid-game.
- Intuitive Icons: We've updated action buttons across the interface to use more descriptive iconography—like a Stop Sign for ending hunts and an inline QR Code symbol for generating printouts.
Cleaner CSV Exports
Based on your feedback, we've updated the Export CSV feature on the Hunt Reports page.
When you download a CSV report, you will now receive a clean, easy-to-read daily summary containing the Date, Total Scans, and New Participants. This makes it much simpler to track your hunt's daily performance in Excel or Google Sheets without having to manually sift through complex data logs!
Thank you for continuing to test YAQRSA during our Public Beta phase!
